Welcome

St. Olaf is owned and governed by St. Olaf Evangelical Lutheran Church. The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services licenses our program. Staff members are chosen for their love of children and dedication to Christian teaching. Our staff meets or exceeds the educational requirements as set by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. Staff members continue their studies and professional growth through in-service classes on site, at local colleges, professional workshops and conferences.

Our bright and cheerful classroom is decorated to appeal to lively youngsters and provides them with a welcome and safe environment. The room is filled with a variety of toys, games, puzzles, books and other equipment that will stimulate a child’s imagination and thinking skills, and promote small and large muscle development. There is an outdoor, fenced playground to play in when the weather allows, and an indoor play area when the weather is disagreeable. Our facility is designed with a paramount concern for a child’s safety, security, self-esteem, and sense of fun.

Registration

To register for St. Olaf Lutheran Preschool please download the registration form which can be found here. Complete the form and bring or mail it along with the $35 registration fee (check or money order) to the Church. Registrations are processed in the order they are received. We must receive both the registration form and fee to complete your child's registration. You will receive confirmation by mail when your child is accepted into the program. If the program is full you will be notified, and you may choose for your child to be placed on the waiting list. Your check will not be cashed until your child actually has a spot in the class.
